The Enchanter is a 10 ft long, 4 ft wide 7 chamber infinity mirror. The piece reflects the viewer and creates the optical illusion of endless space and depth. It is a dreamy spot for photos and moments of meaning. It is lined with programmable, multi-setting LEDs which are veiled in moss, wild foraged bones, and plants to give the piece an organic, natural glow. This piece is a portal to realms beyond the veil. The Enchanter was created in 2021 has been shown at events and spaces including Autumn Night Lights and the Midway in San Francisco.

Sasha Vu is a queer, femme, POC artist based on the
west coast. She creates art inspired by her experience and the beauty and complexity of
the world. She created this piece with her partner , Ira Hyder who is a LED wizard and metal worker. The Enchanter was created in 2021 during a residency at the Midway Gallery
and has been shown at events and spaces including Autumn Night Lights and the Midway
in San Francisco. She has also shown large-scale installations including my past project
KaleidoSoul at festivals such as Kinetic Fire, Wakarusa, Lucidity, Enchanted Forest, Desert
Hearts, Symbiosis, LIB PlayThink, and Lakes of Fire. Sasha is also a live painter, art
educator, and movement/flow artist.
