Tensegrity- Cyclicality series 1: Beginning at the Beginning

Tensegrity is the modern version of a practice handed down through shamans of ancient Mexico and introduced by anthropologist author Carlos Castaneda. In this Workshop  we will practice movements and breaths to wake up our body awareness to explore our patterns of how we begin things. All levels of experience are welcome. This is great complement to do as prep work before “opening the mind” or as a grounding after.

Rattle-Drum Ritual Trance Induction

Ritual Trance Induction is a method by which a trained guide induces an altered state of consciousness through the use of a monotonous rhythm played on a drum or rattle.  The inductee holds a “wisdom posture,” having chosen one of over a hundred gathered from archaeological evidence that spans human history and pre-history. The posture is held for about 15 minutes in this method, about the time it takes for a complete ecstatic journey.
